As a research scientist, she has contributed to improving psychological health in military, healthcare, academic, and consulting settings. She is also a For Dummies author whose ability to translate complex ideas into practical, accessible guidance strengthens her contributions to board records, organizational communications, policy development, and community engagement. Dr. McMillan earned her doctorate from Florida Atlantic University and her BA from The University of Texas at Austin.
